Sigh, throughout my uneventful life, I've never made such a decision. Daddy should be happy for me if I get it, but he doesn't allow it instead.

Strangers would be happy for me, but now I have to decide if I should do it behind his back.

In a way, I want this, and I should be allowed to, but how am I to tell it to him without resulting in a showdown again?
